• work with Julio's Barrio to book space
• collect donations for the silent auction
• design tickets, posters and bid sheets
• participate on the day of to ensure we host the best Bulldogs for Bullies yet!

ABR has ten (yes 10!) bullies coming in over the next couple weeks and we are in desperate need of the following donated items:

• Crates (wire or plastic) size medium and large
• Food dishes
• Bedding
• Toys for strong chewers and little nibbles
• Food (Acana, GO!, Origen, anything hypoallergenic or gastro) 
• Pee pads
• Collars
• Leashes
• Easy walk harnesses
• Treats
• X-pens
• Dog jackets or sweaters

Drop off locations and pick up services are available in Calgary and Edmonton.

We are looking to expand and need volunteers:

 

In Edmonton we need:

A number of key volunteers in Edmonton to help organize and coordinate ABR's work in Northern Alberta. Please email us if you are interested in helping ABR expand.

In Calgary And In Edmonton we need:

Transport Coordinator: Arrange the logistics of transporting rescue dogs with the assistance of our transport volunteers for dogs coming into rescue, attending vet appointments or rescue events.

Home Check and Forever Home interviewers: Conducting home checks for adoptive families and foster families in accordance to our guidelines.

In Calgary Area Only

We also need Foster Homes:

ABR is in desperate need of rehab foster homes. We have dogs that have been assessed and have a training program set up now all we need are foster homes to help these bulldogs. These foster homes must support rescue, love dogs but experience is not necessary, must be able to work with our trainer and follow her instructions (her methods are humane and easy to follow and practice), be consistent and not have small children or dogs in their home - children and other dogs can complicate the rehab before the dog is ready to be socialized. We do accept foster homes with kids and pets but dogs will only be placed in your home when we feel it is a safe dog for your situation.

If you would like to help a bulldog in need and can provide these basic requirements please get in touch, we can't save these dogs without help.
